Bagyong Sendong !!!
Everything happened last year December 17, 2011.
Me and my family had no idea what happened that night in December 16, 2011.
People in Hinaplanon, Pala-o, Mahayahay, Tambo, Orchids, and Bayug Island were struggling that time for their evacuation.. if Im not mistaken it was around 10pm.
No one have no idea for that night.
I always call it the "traitor bagyo"
At 2 am so that was December 17 already, the water was unexpected.
With just the blink of an eye, the water from certain places were already above 6 ft.
Many died.
Including.. a friend of mine.
He lost his life for saving his neighbors.
He went back to their house for wanting to see his wife and 2 year old daughter, thinking they're trapped in their house.

if only... we could turn back the hands of time..
Me and my family and some of the iliganons who were not affected by this calamity were sooo lucky...
This may be the downfall of Iligan City..
But together we stand.
Many of the teenagers volunteered for packing relief goods and for the food of the affected families.
And now its already a month after the destruction of Bagyong Sendong, I've seen lots of the families recovered atleast 50% if I'm not mistaken..
Through the help of the people who never stop helping the needy.
I hope this will be the last calamity in our place..
Thanks to those who helped us start a new chapter in our life.
My friends saw some of the actresses (Maricar Reyes and Kim Chiu) who gave food and relief goods somewhere in Luinab and Pala-o last year.
Only few of the iliganons knew that they were here... Such a very kind heart.
